long. Due to the size and mass of the pieces, this stone makes an excellent
retaining wall product. Covers approximately 15 square ft (face ft) per ton. |

Random Fieldstone
— is an irregularly
shaped, broken stone. The top surface of the stone is quite textured and lends
itself to a rustic natural look. The pieces can vary from 10”-20”+ in length and
usually 3”-4” in thickness. Covers 12-15 square ft (face ft) per ton. Covers
approximately 50 square ft (surface area) per ton. |

— are much thinner
pieces of fieldstone usually 1”-2” thick. Can have a lot of texture on
the surface areas. Sizes vary from 8”-20”+. Covers approximately 70-80 square ft
(surface area) per ton. |

Split Fieldstone
— are pieces cut to a
bed depth of 3”-5” in order to be used as a veneer stone. The pieces are
usually 3’-5’ thick and lengths are from 6”-12”. Covers 40 square ft per
ton. |

Cut Steps
— are chopped pieces
measuring 18” x 36” with thicknesses from 5”-8”. These steps have a more natural
look due to the texture of the surface area. Each piece weighs approximately
340-350 lbs. |

Indiana Step material
— are large, random
pieces of thicker stone material. Generally square or rectangular in shape and
approximately 5”-7”+ thick. Lengths vary from 16”-30”+. This particular
Indiana limestone tends to be mostly light gray in color. Excellent material for
steps. |

— are medium to large
pieces usually square to rectangular in shape and approximately 3” (+ or
-) thick. Sizes vary
from 3-8 square ft in surface area. Great for heavy, thick stepping-stones.
