Fond Du Lac

FDL is a Niagra Dolomite Limestone quarried in Wisconsin. The color range is gray, buff-white, and occasional light tan,, with some stratification. This stone weighs approximately 150 lbs. per cubic ft.

FDL wall stone comes both random and cut wall. The cut wall has an 8in bed depth and is carried in 2-3in, 3-4in, 2-4in, and 3-5in thicknesses. Coverage is approximately 15 square face ft per ton for random and 20 square face ft per ton for cut wall.

Indiana

Indiana is quarried in SE Indiana. For the most part, the color ranges from a light to medium gray with some buff. Occasionally some pieces will be all buff or all gray.

Indiana wall stone comes in both an irregular and a cut wall. The irregular is carried in 2", 4", and 6-7" little chunkies, while the cut wall is carried in 4 and 6in thicknesses with an 8in bed depth. Coverage is approximately 14 square face ft per ton for random and 18 square face ft per ton for cut wall.

Sandy Creek

Sandy Creek is an upper Cambrian Quartzite Sandstone quarried in central Wisconsin. Quartzite Sandstone is very durable. The colors range from light brown, buff, and cream with some cinnamon color veining. The stone weighs approximately 150 lbs. per cubic ft.

Sandy Creek is offered as a cut wall with an 8in bed depth. It is carried in 2-3in, 2-4in, and 4-6in thicknesses. Coverage is approximately 24 square face ft per ton.

Highland Brown

Highland Brown is the weathered leading edge of the stone formation that has been exposed to mineral deposits, erosion, and the elements. This stone has a rustic texture, with shades of cinnamon brown, medium brown, and rust.

Highland Brown is offered as a cut wall with an 8in bed depth. It is carried in both 2-4in and 4-6in thicknesses. Coverage is approximately 24 square face ft per ton.

Tennessee Stack

Tennessee Stack is a very natural, flat, weathered fieldstone that is 2" to 4" thick and has an irregular face deminsion of 4" to 10". Color ranges are from grays to browns while some stones have moss and lichens. Great for short ornate walls, drystacking along berms and landscape beds or veneer applications.

Tennessee Stack is available in both standard and tumbled varieties. Coverage is approximately 15 square face ft per ton.

Corinthian Granite Thin Wall

Corinthian Granite is an elegant medium to coarse grain stone. Colors are blue with a mixture of green, black, pink, brown, burgundy, and white. A small percentage contains black speckles throughout consisting of red and black garnet inclusions and quartz crystals. The stone weighs 170 lbs per cubic ft.

Thin Wall refers to some of the thinnest and smallest pieces. Thickness runs from 1”-3”. Sizes vary in shape but are usually from 6”-12”. Coverage is approximately 20+ square face ft per ton.

South Bay Quartzite Thin Wall

South Bay Quartzite is quartzite sandstone. Smooth and heavily textured with a base color of tan with a blend of antique white, ice blue, amber, dark and light browns. This stone weighs 153 lbs per cubic ft.

Thin Wall refers to some of the thinnest and smallest pieces. Thickness runs from 1”-3”. Sizes vary in shape but are usually from 6”-12”. Coverage is approximately 18-20 square face ft per ton.

Pennsylvania Fieldstone

Pennsylvania fieldstone pieces are very weathered, rustic, and natural looking. Many times they have moss or lichen on them. They are literally gathered up by hand out of the fields and old stone fence rows. They are available as small, medium, and large pieces. Small pieces are usually 1”-3” thick. Medium pieces are 3”-6” thick. The large pieces can be 6”-12” thick. Perfect material for water features.

Ohio

Ohio stone is a blue-gray Dolomite Tynochtee quarried in central Ohio. Many pieces have a dark charcoal coloring on the tops and bottoms of the stone. This stone is a natural, irregularly shaped, broken stone. It weighs approximately 150 lbs per cubic ft.

Ohio Stone is available in 2, 3, and 4in thicknesses. Coverage is approximately 15 square face ft per ton.

Southern Buff/ Rustic Buff

Southern Buff/ Rustic Buff is a limestone quarried in southern Ohio. The color varies from a rustic orange to a greenish gray. For the most part this stone is a natural, irregularly shaped broken stone. It weighs approximately 170 lbs per cubic ft.

Southern Buff/ Rustic Buff is available in 2, 3, and 4in thicknesses. It is also available in 5-6", 6-7", and 7-8" little chunkies. Coverage is approximately 15 square face ft per ton.

Field Stone

Field stone is native to the Cincinnati area. it is blue/gray with some buff and contains many fossils. Our native field stone is seen in many older areas of town, such as Clifton, Hyde Park, Price Hill, etc. Many older retaining walls are constructed of this stone. Because of it’s irregular shape, field stone pieces are usually cemented together.

Field stone is irregular in size and shape. Smaller ones can be 2-3in thick, and the size of a salad plate. The larger sizes can be 3-5in thick up to 5-8in thick and range in size from a dinner plate to 1 1/2-2ft across. Coverage is approximately 10-12 square face ft per ton.
